Janusz Bromboszcz

Graduate in the Medical Academy in Krakow (1978). PhD in medicine (1990). Specialist in internal diseases and medical rehabilitation. Physician and academic teacher in the Jagiellonian University– Collegium Medium (formerly Medical Academy in Krakow) in the Department of Internal Diseases (1978-1990) and in Rehabilitation Unit of the Second Faculty of Internal Diseases UJ CM (1992-2001). Also in the Faculty of Health Sciences UJ CM (1994-1999), and in years 1992-1994 lecturer in the School of Public Health UJ CM. From 1990 to 2013 academic teacher in the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow. From 2005 lecturer in the Physiotherapy Faculty of the Higher School of Administration in Bielsko-Biała. Experienced also in teaching in English (English track medical students, Erasmus exchange students).
Author and co-author of research publications and conference presentations referred mainly to cardiac rehabilitation problems. Co-editor and co-author of the monograph “Rehabilitacja kardiologiczna – Stosowanie ćwiczeń fizycznych” [Cardiac Rehabilitation – Application of Physical Exercises], basic for education in physiotherapy, and co-author of chapters referring to cardiac rehabilitation in the book “Kardiologia” [Cardiology], basic for education of physicians, cardiology specialists. From 1997 to 2013 publisher of research journals: Rehabilitacja Medyczna [Medical Rehabilitation] and Ból [Pain], and medical books dealing with rehabilitation problems. From 1997 to 2013 editor-in-chief of the Rehabilitacja Medyczna  [Medical Rehabilitation] quarterly journal published in both in Polish and English language.
Member of the Main Board of the Polish Rehabilitation Society.
